The simplist container that can protect an egg from a drop of a hundred feet in to roll it up in aluminum foil. Make a ball about the size of a basketball. It never fails.

wrap it in bubble wrap and pack it with cotton. Make sure there isnt any room for it to move around. It should be ok if the box isnt tossed around too hard.
