True. Every time soneone reaches the simmit of Everest, they've climbed a higher mountain than anyone before.

Sure. But you're talking a fraction of an inch in a year. And erosion is also wearing them down. Neither will make much difference in your lifetime.

I think I heard something like that once.
I also heard that erosion was causing growth because it was causing magma to come to the surface or something. I don't know , Im not a geologist
