If a queen is receptive, a tom will grab the scruff of her neck to hold her in place and mount her. Cats have barbed penises, so that when the tom pulls out he rakes the queen's vaginal walls, stimulating ovulation. This hurts a LOT, so the queen will probably try to clobber the tom afterwards. Also of note is that a queen can be mated by multiple cats before becoming pregnant.

well when the female cat is in heat {most of the time} and the male cat comes over and jumps on her back and digs his claws in he sides which make her bottom come up. her tail goes aginst her back and then the males penis i guess. would get hard and go into the female cat. well then the male cat kinda just leaves and there you go

what a strange thing to want to know lol.anyway i was watching a vet program one day and i remember the vet sayin that the male cat gets on top off the female cat 'doggy style' and the male cat's penis has spikes in that pings out into the female cats vagina to stop her getting away! weird huh but apparently true!

like most mammals except the male usually grabs the scruff of her neck during the mating and when it's over has to jump off quickly cos the female often takes a swipe at him afterwards!

He male cat sticks his barbed pee-pee-er into the female and bites her neck. it only lasts a few seconds. usually they are laying down on their sides, with the male behind the female.
