I have a word document with a series of tables in it, but they will not print. They are in the document in page layout view, but not on the print preview. Also, on print preview, all my page breaks are thrown out, moving the doc from 11 to 8 pages.

Even if I copy and paste the tables into a new doc, they do not print, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Just tried drawing a new table and pasting in the text. Just get a blank table! So the problem must be in the text. Changed the colour and font, but no joy.

Hi - thanks for your help. Resolved on only-4-geeks.com

For some reason, Word had decided to surpress the tebles using the the "Hidden" tick box in format - font. No idea why - I certainly hadn't been playing with that.

Thanks again.

Hello,

(ANS) This sounds like a printer driver problem, my most immediate thought is try un-installing the printer & driver. Once removed reboot the computer and re-install the printer driver and any printer related software that came with the printer.

**After you have done the above, open word and print a test page, see if that looks normal. If that seems OK, try printing your tables again. If that fails then you have a problem with word itself.

**If the worst happens and the above re-install doesnt solve the matter. My next step would be to re-install MS Word itself.

Hope thats of use?

Best Regards IR

Couple of questions: Do you use a blue background in Word? Were the page breaks inserted ("Section Break (Next Page)" or "Section Break (Continuous)") or did you insert the page breaks with Ctrl+Enter?

I have used Word for 20 years and never come across this - I suggest you contact Microsoft support:

hi...go into 'print preview'...then 'tools' at the top...then 'options' and then 'print'...and make sure the settings in this section are set correct to include the fields you want to print.
