Hell No, can u imagine if the life in London was like life in Dove or Kent? when u see that there is a huge difference between the cities even in Britain, how could u think that the way of living in Ankara or Erzurum would be the same like in London. Well other than both cities have houses with red roofs, they also have asphalt roads, u can never ignore this detail, plus both in London and Ankara houses or flats bathrooms and bedrooms with a kitchen could be another similarity but dont ever forget that the houses in both of these cities have balconies and front or backyards as well. The only different ; Erzurum is cold like pole is all.
To sum up, in one way yes u can live in both cities London and Erzurum or Ankara, but the way of living in these cities is totally different from each other,lol...
Regards....

bu only finding a similarity between the houses, it is not right to generalize it with the peoples' lifestyles. Ankara maybe somewhat similar since it is the capital but Erzurum is totally different than Britain.

I'm from England and now live in Turkey. I'm surprised you think the houses look the same - not in my experience!

On a day to day basis, life can be pretty similar - you can go to the cinema, watch Eastenders, shop in supermarkets etc etc but actually the life here is very different to that in the UK. That's what makes it interesting. Try it and see. I'm still enjoying the learning experience after 13 years!

Life in Erzurum is probably as different from life in Ankara as life in Aberystwyth is different to life in London!!

well, i think it only shows the way of how the houses seem in Turkiye are like in Britain. and the way of living in Turkey is different from the way in Britain. if u ask whether people are the same, it cant be said so, too.. and we mostly think English people are cold and not sincere as much as us. but, of course this might be a prejudice of Turks just like Europans have about Turkey, by this view about prejudices, we might be really really similar...

As a matter of fact we live in yurts, ride horses and also eat them. We drink horse milk, make a kind of alcoholic drink with it. We shoot arrows for sport. And... think think think... when we are tired of a nomadic lifestyle we suddenly become Arabic, wrap towels around our heads, ride camels and live in deserts. And then... mmmm... we revert to being Ionians or Fenicians. Houses like in Britain? Dude, I'm really sorry for you if you are all living in similar houses. How boring!
