I think it would be a very interesting to find out how many of you out there are waiting till you get married. Im 18 and I'm still a virgin, I plan to be till I get married. So just out of curiousty. (Virginity is seen as unnormal in this day and age in a way. It's come to be that the norm now is having sex. So I just want to see what you all think.)

I'm 22 and I and my boyfriend (24) are virgins. We've been together for 4 years and are getting married in 2008. We still plan to wait until the wedding to have sex.

Some people can wait and some people can't wait. I lost my virginity at the age of 16. It was all good but then I ended up preg. Got married to him and divorced at age 22. That's not why I got divorced but at times I wish I would have experimented more. I'm not saying I wanted to **** myself out but Some people get tired of that same person and wish they would have had more then one person. I've only had two. My Ex and My husband now. It all depends on how u feel in ur heart. If you want to wait then go for it girl. Like I said it can cause some conflict in the marriage later on down the road when u wished you had more then one partner. And then again ur marriage could be perfectly fine. It's your choice and only yours.

I always thought I'd wait to get married, then lose my v-card... but it didn't end up that way. Sometimes in life, things just happen, and you can't be all sad about it, because you made a mistake, or you didn't make the right decisions. I learn alot from my mistakes, and I'm poud to say... although I'm not a virgin, I still have my respect and dignity!

there is nothing wrong in being a virgin at 18 in fact most good people do it with best confirmed lovers who would marry them too. it depends on u if u want to give in your self before or after commitment. its your decision. pl dint get misled in what is or is Not the norm. in sex there is no norm at all.

I was seventeen, and if I hadn't done it then I was going to need a guide dog. Just get on with it. What if you get married then are sexually incompatible with your spouse? Many people don't click you know. I work with Egyptian guys who have all made the mistake of waiting until they were married. All now divorced and on to their second wives (they experimented 2nd time around!).

I was a virgin until i got married at age 21. Don't be fooled by all the hype. Sex before marriage is overrated. I could not imagine sharing all that "closeness" with just anyone.

Good for you!

I waited for my husband. Once we were engaged, I lost my virginity and at 31. I don't regret it for a second. I won't preach but will say that it makes it much easier to tell if a guy is interested in you or just wants to get in your pants.

i think the amount of people waiting and the amount of people not waiting is about even. but, i must tell you that not all the peole who choose not to wait give away thei virginty to anyone. some people know who the right person is, and that they'll spend thier life with that person. so even f they do have sex before the marriage, they know that they will be with that person forever and beyond. it's still commendable that you're waiting. many people i know wish they had.

Unfortunately, I am not cause I just got married.I think that being a virgin is something that you should be proud of.Not every one out there is having sex and when it comes to u being a virgin until u get married, stick to your guns and do not let anyone pressure you to give it up.Be strong.
