If your active duty you can take leave and go home for a while and visit or go straight to your duty station. If you are reserve or NG then you go home and go to drills and such.

you will locate out for the period of AIT the place your accountability station would be. you will graduate AIT then circulate directly to anyplace you would be stationed. My husband is reclassing and he's done with college in 2 months (been right here 4 months) and we nonetheless don't be attentive to the place we are going so this is a together as until eventually now you be attentive to. you will definately be attentive to until eventually now you circulate away nevertheless for the reason which you will get orders. wait and spot and function exciting!

You are assigned a permanent duty station to do the work you were trained to do in AIT. Before you report to the permanent duty station, you will get a leave, unless you were already given one after BCT.

Like the other guys said, you can go on leave if youre Active, but if youre a weekend warrior then you just go back home. You can take leave if you want. But I would suggest reporting to your duty station first. I would try to bank as much as your leave as you can so you can get out early. Or you can go home and party, but then again the army (unless youre deployed) is all about partying, just with new people.

You typically take leave and then go to your duty station. You might also go to follow-on training, such as airborne school.
