There seems to be some evidence that man was the cause of the extinction of the mega creatures in Australia. This is one of two hypothesis for the extinction, but neither seems to have a really strong case as of yet.
Note: this obviously has nothing to do with the mass extinction of the dinosaurs or other earlier or later life forms.
As new information is discovered the model is updated.

and it is still happening today. Man the Destroyer, we are always trying to manage things we don't understand. If we interfere with the normal evolution of other species we create an unbalance for them. Nature is full of checks and balances, man should not interfere. Same thing happens with the climate. we interfere continuously, and now we are about to pay the price. We don't need nuclear war, we will self destruct regardless. The thought about the dinosaurs becoming extinct is because of a direct hit by a meteorite that raised so much dust that the earth cooled and light was obscured and they all died. End of story. Man had nothing to do with that.

Of course man is responsible for some species dying off. Overhunting, overfishing, pollution, etc. are all man-made ways to kill off a species. That doesn't mean that other species didn't die from climate changes. No evolutionist would argue that man caused some species' extinction. So I don't get your question or point.

Your question fascinates me...because I am really trying to understand what you are asking, and, yet, I can't. I feel like you actually have a question, but just were unable to express it. My best guess is that you are criticizing scientists for revising their theories over time. If so, then, well, THANK GOD! 1000 years ago, "scientists" thought the way to cure people of diseases was to stick leeches on them and suck out the bad blood. If science didn't change, then we'd still all have a life expentancy below 30.
Oh, btw, religion changes ALL THE TIME too. Research Church history, and you will find massive doctrinal changes over time.
If I am reading something into your question that you did not intend, my apologies.

In the view of physical science, every observable phenomenon can be explained on the bases of the known laws of nature or laws yet to be discovered. If there is a phenomenon that we cannot understand or explain with our present state of knowledge, then we have to await future discoveries and developments. The fact that we do not understand an event or a phenomenon should drive us to seek an understanding of it. There are no mysteries in science; everything has a scientific explanation.

So? What is the question? It has long been thought that the Mammoth had been killed off from over hunting by man. Is there A problem with that? Recently so was the Carrier Pigeon.

I've never heard that.
How is man a rapid climate change? You might want to reread your questions before posting them.

Are you an evolutionist? If you are then this has been said one time, by you, just now.
