work for a janitorial company so i go to different buildings every night only go to the office occasionanly can i claim mileage on my taxes. my employer does hold out taxes from my checks

i work for a janitorial company as an employee, i have taxes taken out of my paycheck. he has an office in town i seldom go to this office on my way to the buildings i usually leave from my home, i use my own car to travel to said building.

how do i go about claiming the mileage on my taxes, what is the minimal limit that can be claimed per day

the short answer is yes, but only if the "home office" is where you would normally work out of. And you can deduct the difference between the building and your office. For example, it is 5 miles to your office, but 9 miles to the building you are cleaning, thus you can deduct 4 miles. if the building is closer, no deduction is possible.

first of all call the government and get them to take the taxes out of your account every payday and secondly YES you can claim mileage on your taxes. go to the tax office and ask them for the form you need to deduct this or your accountant should know. in either case have your taxes looked at by an accountant they do not charge that much to do taxes and then you know its always done right.
