I have a travertine floor that people have dropped objects on and put holes in the tiles. Is there somethings other then grout I can fill the holes with?

Yes there are products to repair your travertine. They are epoxy fillers. the downfall is they come in limited colors and are noticeable.
Sealing the entire floor after the repair is made will help hide the damaged area. Next, they are hard to find. you may have to visit a flooring store, or try the web.

Good luck.

If you use grout (and I would) then make sure the layer of sealer on there already is still good. If drops of water bead on the surface of your travertine, the grout will not stain it everywhere you wipe it with a grout float. Otherwise, preseal first.

I haven't heard about those epoxy fillers...

No, you would use grout. Clean the floor thoroughly and then float the grout into the holes and seal the whole floor with a sealer
