a - c can all be eliminated with those little convex mirrors on just about any vehicle, large or small
d varies from car to car, but is probably untrue for the most part.
Always check those blind spots - but don't forget to keep looking forward, I rear-ended a cadillac (who had stood up on his brakes) because I was trying to merge and was looking back - only for a split second.

a, tractor trailers have bigger and more blind spots, you can't eliminate blindspots, you can't see a blindspot in a rearview mirror if you could it would not be a blind spot and tractor trailers have bigger blindspots then passenger vehicles.

d) same as above-trucks normally have larger side view mirrors, unless somebody puts them silly little sport mirrors on. neck excercises also required.

"A" for sure, you cannot see through an eighteen wheeler trailer like you can a cars windows.
