Try the home health care pros. in your area and see who they are and what they do and how much. Also ask people like nursing facilities if they can recommend a service to you. Do your research on the about these companies to see what they offer and also to see if there are any bad reports about them. Good luck, I know it is not easy to care for sick or elderly, I've done so myself.

I hope you get lots of answers to this question. My husband and I are 80 and 76 and where looking into senior retirement places but they are so expensive and we have lived in our home here in Houston, Texas- Spring Branch Area for 38 years and my husband wants to stay right here till he dies, I do too, but I have fears of being alone for many reasons although we are both active at present, we do have medical issues. So in home care may be our best option. It is something we need to deal with now as time is passing fast now. WE will be watching. Thanks for your question. God Bless you and yours~~~~Jill

I would go thru an agency that has already checked out each of their employees.Elder abuse does happen even when everything checks out but you have to start somewhere., Go by your gut insticts about people when you choose between the agencys candidates.
