She is eager to hear all about how much I care for her and like her, but she says that "I do think we have a wonderful friendship and hope it won't alter" about my feelings. I had said that right now I could only be her friend, but I was not closing the door to future possiblities. I had also talked to her several times about my feelings, and each time she listened eagerly and ready to hear what I had to say. Each time, she asked questions like why I did not ask her out and what it would mean if we dated. Does she want friendship or more?

It sounds like she really appreciates having such a great friend like you. Maybe you should just leave it in God's hands, and he will take care of the how and when parts of the situation. It sounds like she wants more than just friendship, but is afraid that if you two broke up she would lose a friendship much more valuable to her. Just try to show her how much you care for her, and that you won't bail out when she really needs a friend, when you've proven to her that your not leaving maybe then she'll be open to more. I am going to say this with past exsperance. I am sure she enjoys being with you and being your friend. She respects you and is waiting if you said I am ready for a relationship I am sure she might be willing to enter into the relationship and still want to keep that frendship. just because you in a relationship dosen't mean your not friends.

She may be confused about what she wants and she feels like you and her are so close that y'all don't need to make anything official. So when you don't ask her out she may feel like you're lying about your feelings that you have for her and don't keep on telling her how much you like her because it's going to go to her head and she is going to feel like she can get you to do anything she wants, this girl did my brother the same way. And he fell for it and now she they don't even talk.

It does seem like she wants more then just a friend relationship. From what you've said, about her eagerness and about her questions I would be surprised if she didn't like you as more than a friend..

Man it;s clear if she is asking you out and other things then it's clear she wants more than frndship.If intrested in her ask her out for movies, dinner etc.So that ur level would increase
