I miss my ex girlfriend alot and we talk now and then but lately ive been finding myself wanting to be back with her. I dont know why but I just cant tell her. she never cheated on me or anything...why cant I ask her back out?

Why you cannot ask to be with her again?
Because you must have a deep-down feeling that things are not going to be any different than they were before?
The fact that the two of you are NOT together is probably the very reason why you hesitate.
You see- incompatibility or the unwillingness to try and make it work (for, I believe, you CAN make it work IF you really want to- there is no such thing as Ms Right because each and every relationship has the POTENTIAL of being the right one) is all the reason you need to be cautious to repeat the past.
And perhaps you realise that there IS no going back and recapturing the past...
That you MISS her and have feelings of wishing to be back with her is natural. I had the same feelings about the lad I broke up with when I found out he had cheated on me. Oh no- he actually told me and had hoped we could work it out but I was young. In fact I continued to have those feelings for about 20 years but they did get less over the years so be hopeful! It WILL pass.
Unless you DO just tell her and see what she says?
SOMETIMES people need two goes at something to realise that is for "keeps"!

Maybe you're feeling guilty about the break-up. Try to put those feelings aside, and talk to her honestly, see if there's a chance for you to work things out. Good luck!

i think you could ask her back out juzz remeber that the 1st time will always be the best time so the second time you go out it might not be at good as u thought it might be!....you dumped her for a reson right?...think about why u dumped her or why she dumped you and then see if you still want what you had b4....=)..i wish i had thought about what i was getting myself into when i aked my x back out i dumped him AGAIN after 1 month of living hell so juzz think if you want that back!

I just asked the same identical question!!!! They told me to tell her how i feel, but its not that easy. I would say send a text or write a note.

well i can't really tell u...maybe ur just scared of rejection...maybe ur scared she'll think ur a jerk for breakin' up w/ her in the first place...but if u really like her i'd ask her out or at least tell her how u feel

Why did you breakup? If you examine why you broke up closely, then ask yourself, if you can get her back after whatever happened.
