People have always been offended by the truth. They get stuck, and feel more comfortable where they are and don't want to move. It is more real and safer to them because it is known. The unknown can be scary.

In the view of physical science, every observable phenomenon can be explained on the bases of the known laws of nature or laws yet to be discovered. If there is a phenomenon that we cannot understand or explain with our present state of knowledge, then we have to await future discoveries and developments. The fact that we do not understand an event or a phenomenon should drive us to seek an understanding of it. There are no mysteries in science; everything has a scientific explanation.

Truth HURTS!

Because of sin. First of all, we all have a conception of right and wrong. When a person is comfortable with their sins, they don't want anyone else coming to them and telling them they are wrong. We all know that is not of God. Jesus is light and in Him there is not darkness. When you sin, you are in darkness. When you tell them they are wrong, you are shining the light of Jesus into their lives. Because they are sinning they are following satan. The two are always at odds. People don't won't you coming shining the light of Jesus into their lives when they are doing 'what they want to do'. May God Bless U.
