I have a excellent relationship with my girlfriend.I love her to death It was her 25th birthday two weeks ago and I not only took her to a very expensive restaurant in NYC, but took her shopping and spent a lot of money on her. She had an amazing weekend and couldn't stop thanking me. She comes from a wealthy family, and her father who works for ESPN surprised her with three tickets to the Super Bowl in a luxury suite( all expenses paid to Miami, Airfare ,5 nights at the Ritz Carlton, dinners, and spa treatments. It is now my 25th birthday today and I am a huge football fan, she doesn't even watch it. She decided to take two of her sorority sisters from college to the game, she rarely speaks to. Now, I don't want to sound spoiled, but I think I have a right to be angry??

Wow that seems really cold. And it also seems that instead of being belligerent or depressed you are really trying to figure out why she is doing this, which shows you are a level headed person.
I would definitely feel very disappointed and I believe this is cause for a serious conversation. You need to tell her that you feel very surprised and sad that she did not consider taking you to the game, and is there something that she is holding back on? If her father is going to be there, maybe she is worried about how you and her father get along? Is she trying to hold back a confrontation?
Or if she says no that's not at all why she didn't choose you, then you need to be firm enough to ask "OK, then why?" If her answer does not suffice, or just seems frivolous or superficial then you need to consider where you stand with her. Do you want to be with someone that does not consider you in their plans ? Or worse yet, does not consider doing nice things for you in any manner.
Also, it seems to me if she really loved you she wouldnt anything more then to spend a great trip like that with you. My boyfriend and aer very close as well and if I ever come across an awesome benefit then I always include him - I want him to enjoy soemthing with me because it brings me joy to spend special moments with him. He does the same for me.
That is so NOT what she is doing. Reconsider this relationship.

She sounds like a spoiled brat. She should be considerate of your feelings. Maybe she sees spending all this money on her birthday as something that should come naturally. Maybe you love her too much. She should be humbled. Spend a few days in NYC with a couple of your buddies when she expects you to be with her and don't even feel bad about it. Hell, let her know you've planned a huge Super Bowl party at your place while she's away. Let her know how much fun you're gonna have and can't wait. See if she likes that.

KICK HER TO THE CURB!!! Thats really F'd up. She obviously knows how much you love her and footbal but still took her friends because she wants to go to south beach and at least get attention from guys (not necessarrily cheat). I understand woman like to go on vacations with their friends but to pick them over you to go to the super bowl? That just seems really messed up to me. That would be like me taking all my buddies to some broadway show that she wanted to see. I would grab a buddy and go to Vegas this weekend if I were you just to see how she likes it.

I would be angry too, I think my husband would divorce me if I took some girlfriends to a football game instead of him. Did you tell her you wanted to go (I know, it should be obvious)? You've got to tell her how you feel now.

Oh my, that was rude of her and you do have a right to be angry. Sounds like a spoiled rich kid. Give her hell or she will keep doing mean things to you.

YOU HAVE EVERY DAMN RIGHT TO BE PISSED OFF!!! But be calm... DAMN THAT MAKES ME ANGRY!!!!
Dude tough luck, but if she left already and didn't even take you into consideration then you really should be pissed. but being mad will lead you to doing really stupid things so just try to keep your anger under control.
