If you take the sausage out of their casings, you can use the it as part of a stuffing or dressing for another protein like poultry or pork roast. The potatoes can be used as part of the stuffing, or if you boil them and add flour you can make gnocchi and serve it with a browned butter and sage sauce (maybe add bits of sausage to the dish).

If you want to use both the sausage and mashed potatoes in a different way, try making a version of sheperd's pie with them by adding some root vegetables and wine with the sausage and bake with the mashed potatoes on top as a crust.

Try skinning them, and make a pastry case, and spread the sausage meat over the bottom, cut up an onion and place on top with herbs. Add a portion of Condenced soup over the sausage meat, and add the pastry lid, and crimp sides brush with egg and cook in oven for about 35 minutes serve with fresh veg enjoy. my kids loved this.

Sausage casserole. Buy the powder mix from the supermarket, just add water and pour over sausage and veg and slam in the oven, lovely.

Absolutely anything! Skin and crumble them (cooked) to put in wraps - or leave whole. Cut up and mix with rice, pasta or couscous adding any vegies, spices or sauces. They can be substituted in any recipe you want - go on, live dangerously!

Actually, the easiest (and least greasy) way of cooking bangers is to pt them in a flat micro dish with a bit of water to cover and nuke them for a couple of minutes, turn 'em over and hit them again for a few minutes, then drain off the water, wrap and squeeze in a paper towel - then they're ready for you to use in whatever way you fancy. No fuss - no fatty gunk to clean up.

you can cut them open with a knife and remove the sausage meat and mix it in a bowl with chopped spring onions, spices and make shaped meatballs, fry them in a litle oil and serve with spaghetti, tomato sauce; alas spaghetti and meat balls! also using the sausage meat you can make a oriental style sausage meat fried rice! at one time i even made it myself: like before, separate the sausage meat with the use of a knife and cut open. with your hands take out the meat and place in a bowl. crack open and beat some eggs in another bowl, heat up a little oil in a wok or frying pan and pour in the egg mixture. when the mixture becomes firm, throw in some chopped spring onions, green peas, the sausage meat and boiled rice and mix together. add a pinch of salt to taste and small drop of soy sauce and keep stirring for a few minutes. to prevent the rice from sticking to the pan/work, add a little oil. serve in bowls or on plates

there's a lot of ways to do with sausages.... my family enjoy to eat sausages... almost in every meal we have sausages around.... sometimes we put it on spaghetti, peas and corn stir fry, friend rice, fried noodles (chow mien), soup, stuffing, and many more... :) just be creative and if you found a good recipes that you think it's good for you, you can try to substitute the beef or chicken ingredients with sausages... or probably add it into your meal... ;)

Put them in a pot (raw) with sliced potatoes, onions and raw chopped bacon. Make up a pack of potato soup and pour it over them and put in oven at 160 degrees for about 1 hour. This makes a traditional Irish meal called Dublin Coddle. Serve with fresh parsley and Cayenne pepper - one of my all time favourites !
