No, not if you condition it. It will dry out your scalp. Its an astringent. When combined with sunlight while still damp it will slightly lighten your hair. Like anything, if done to excess, you could get some dandruff.

Well, I'm guessing you want to try and naturally highlight your hair, right? To do this, put the lemon juice on your hair and go out into the sun. However, as like all hair coloring procedures, it will do some damage to your hair. But the consequences would be the same even if you bought something from the store or went to the salon to get it done. It just depends how far you're willing to go in order to get highlights.

Putting it in hair will lighten it but dont leave it in then it will dry the hair out. Adding 1/4 cup lemon juice to 2 quarts of warm water and rinsing your hair with it will make blonde hair brighter and shinier.

Yes, it will dry the strands out REALLY bad... I'm guessing you're doing it to lighten your hair. Any type of dye will harm your hair, it's just something you have to accept if you want to change your color.

hi, if you leave it in too long and dont condition it , yes it will dry out your hair. it can be used to lighten the hair, but i wouldnt leave it on too long. use a good conditioner after or a leave-in conditioner. stay away from sun-in, ive seen lots of damage from people using it to lighten their hair.
