there was this guy i was friends with for awhile and i began to like him A LOT.

then this girl came up to me (i know her a little bit but not really close to) and tells me she really likes this guy. i found out it was the same guy i liked. i did NOT tell her i liked him too.

anyway, he asked me out and i said yes. i asked him if he knew about that girl liking him and he said yea he knew but he wants to be with me not her.

i believe him, but should i tell this girl that we're dating? my boyfriend wants me to tell her because she's always calling him and he doesnt have the guts to tell her to stop and i dont either! shes a really nice girl but has serious emotional problems. should i tell her or my boyfriend? or do i just let her find out by herself?

He should tell her first. He needs to be a man and tell her he is seeing someone else. He doesn't have to be nasty but be upfront. If she don't take no for an answer then you need to say he is with you and you would appreciate if she backs off of him. If she stills continues to be bothersome. you need to put her in her place and go off on her.

You should do it together. Act like a couple in her presence. Give him a kiss, lean on each other, have your arms around each other's waist. Show that you two are definitely a pair, and she should back off. There's always the risk that she reacts really badly, though, so try not to do it with a large group around. Let it be known that you guys still like her and want her to be around (if that's the case, anyway), and things should work out okay in the long run.

Maybe he should tell her. Even though, what is this? Elementary? He has the guts but if not then maybe you should. Say it to her that you won't get the point across and maybe have a little bit of a sneaky side. Although she might know. Hope everything works out fine. I have my own problems to deal with but hopefully this might work for you. =)

he should tell her. to let her find out on her own will drive a wedge between the two of you (maybe that's what you want).

He can say something like he likes her like a sister. That's a line that women use and we know it's the kiss of death for a relationship to ever appear.

Oh, the drama. Honestly, if you aren't friends with her, then you don't have any obligation to tell her. She'll find out sooner or later. Your boyfriend seems to be a chicken about it. Maybe he doesn't want problems with her since she has emotional problems.

If she is a friend, tell her. If not then don't because 10 times out of 10 she wouldn't tell you. Your bf should man up and tell her he doesn't like her like that. She can't get mad at you because he liked you and not her!!

well in this case it is up to your bf to tell her because if the girl keeps calling him and he continues talking to her as though he is still single then it makes it seem like he's leading her on and if she hears it from you she'll feel worse. have him tell her because it, in reality, is his responsibility, or it will just make him seem like a jerk (sorry no offense).

letting her find out on her own would certainly be the easiest way out, but not the best.
being as she is calling him, not you, i feel it is his responsibilty to tell her, not yours. just be prepared for some possible back lash.
