Isoniazid is for TB bacillus only. Dizziness does not occur with ear infection. This sounds like an inner ear problem. You have to see an ENT specialist.

Isoniazid is an antimycobacterial specific to the bacteria that causes tuberculosis (TB). It is usually taken in combination with another drug for long term therapy (6-12 months). It is not going to kill bacteria that may be causing your ear infection.

When did you start taking the Isoniazid? If you just started your regimen, it's possible these symptoms could be a side effect. You should call your doctor and let them know the symptoms you're having, it could be a drug reaction, especially the dizziness. Anyway, if you have an ear infection, you will need a different medication.

Dear Catherine, I use Hydrogen Peroxide Food Grade, as a drying agent. It's available from any Chemist and applied using an eye-dropper( also available from Chemist ). Try a couple of drops at a time in each ear, if it fizzes up that is a clear sign of an ear infection. If applied morning and night, within a few days your ears should be clear of any possible infection. If you overdo the Hydrogen Peroxide, then just loosen any dried wax with some warm olive oil or "Cerumol", once the infection has cleared. Actually, as a maintenance dose I apply a couple of drops of Hydrogen Peroxide to each ear nightly. Works like a treat. Blessings !

Isoniazid is a drug used to treat Tuberculosis and this has no relation with ear infection. If you have an infection resulting from Otitis Media its advisable for you to take someother antibiotic.
But I prefer you conduct ear swab test to know if you infection if as a result of bacterial, viral or fungal infection...
Goodluck

If it is a Fungus or Yeast infection, the same effective ingredient found in the prescribed medicine is the same ingredient found in the over the counter medicine for vaginal yeast infection. Or monistate seven except you get a toothpaste size tube. I use it for my dogs ears
