Pure advertising, they think if you hear that you will run out and buy it. Just like Coke, new and improved and it was nasty. Sometimes, just best to leave it alone. Also, the mighty dollar plays a hand in all this, anything for more.

They do this because they were able to change some ingredient to save money, and then try to make it into a marketing plus and sell more.
