Cinnamon is not fattening and it will not cause weight gain. Since it is a spice any minute calorie would be burned off by the digestion of it. There are other such items that you can eat a lot of because the digestion works hard to pass it so it actually is a negative calorie effect.
Sprinkle cinnamon on everything. They have found that cinnamon is healthy and can lower blood preasure and cholesterol. The more the better. Have fun with it and cook and bake with it whenever you can.

Cinnamon is not fattening at all - it's a spice, dried bark from the cinnamon tree. Some people have cinnamon sugar though - that is fattening. In fact, plain cinnamon has been shown to regulate your blood sugar levels, so is in fact very good for when you're on a diet, as it helps prevent the blood sugar highs and lows that can cause food cravings. Hope that helps!

There is minimal fat and calories in cinnamon. It does come from an essential oil, but the amount you would need to eat to make up even 1 fat gram is massive. I am sure you are ok sprinkling cinnamon on your cereal.

It is a good idea for adding spice and flavor without sugar and unnecessary calories.

Absolutely not ....apparently if you drink before every meal a cup of hot water with a spoonful of honey sprinkled with cinnamon this will actually help you lose weight.

Cinnamon is not fattening -- but the sugar we typically add to it for sweetness is in the 15-25 calories per level-to-heaped teaspoon range.
