look me and my best friend of almost 12 yrs. have the same problem. i hate her bf. he uses her and has cheated on her several times. and he hates me because i am very blunt and honest and i don't fall for his crap. but when we are around each other we came to an agreement. we will get along for my friends sake because why should i have her choose bt someone she loves and her friend since childhood.
with his friend just smile and turn the other cheek and if you really want to complain about him do it to your friends not your bf. you have to learn to accept everything that comes with that package no matter how much you hate it.
now if he's getting your bf in trouble then talk to your bf and explain that you are worried about him. do not say that he can't see him anymore,you are not mom. butjust stress your concern and explain maybe he could cut back on the time he spends with him. now that is ONLY if he is getting him in trouble or dragging him down.

yes or no. it depends on how he reacts to it. frankly, when my gf didn't like one of my friends it didn't bother me, i just made sure that they weren't together or she would avoid him and it was no biggie. if you know you guys don't get along then don't talk to each other, cuz it sucks when in relationships the guy or the girl make the other stop being friends with their friends just cuz they dislike each other.
if your guy insists you HAVE to get along with his friend then yeah, there may be a problem since you don't like the guy. you either have to become superficial about it (which isn't too bright of an idea) or just make it clear that you don't want to be around his friend.

It could. Even if you don't like the friend, don't tell your guy about what a jerk he is-that just puts him in the middle and makes you come off badly. Be cordial when you must be in his presence, and when you're not, refrain from saying anything about the guy.

Well, I have dated plenty of guys whose friends I didnt exactly get along with. I mean, you are not always gonna get along with everyone in life. I think that as long as you don't try to tell him he cant hang out with his friend, and you try to be nice, things should be just fine.

Well it could work for awhile but then again you have to decide that if it came down to you or his friend who would he pick or would he try to resolve your problems?
