Yes, I know a family of 4 that has the last name Christ. But it is not the name that defines it, it is what it means. The last name Christ is pronounced like Krist. Jesus Christ, was Jesus THE Christ. The word "Christ" in english is from the greek word "christos, which is a translation of the Hebrew word for Messiah. So this family of 4 may have the last name "Christ", but Jesus Christ is the Messiah.

Yes. Most who I know seem to pronounce it Christ like cyst or tryst.

Nope. Not even Jesus. 'Christ' simply translates into 'Annointed'.

'Christ' is a title.
Jesus was the Christ ....the promised Messiah.
