I would say Ah-yoh-kuh. Cherokee spelling is very phonetic compared to English. However, sometimes in order to learn the right intonation of a Cherokee name or word you have to listen to either a native speaker or a tape recording if you can get a hold of some tape cassettes for the Cherokee language. A few language outlets and distributors do sell them.
