I have connected my PS2 to my LCD tv, via the scart lead that comes with the ps2!

I am disapointed with the picture quality, its not very sharp, and its blury!

Do I need to use a different lead, or change any settings?

Please help!

New LCD and plasma screens are designed to show pictures in high definition (HD) mode. When it's shown in normal mode the picture appears very grainy. This is why the XBOX 360 and new PS3 can be played in HD mode. I have a 360 and LCD tv and in HD mode the picture quality is outstanding. The same applies with DVD's hence why they're releasing Blue-Ray and HD-DVD'S. If you want to enjoy gaming at it's best you'll either have to get a XBOX 360 or the new PS3.

I think your best bet is to use a ps2 component lead which will give you the best picture quality possible.

this is alink to an ebay item you may be able to find one cheaper elsewhere. This will give you best picture on a hd tv.
