I painted my wood floor and used pencil to mark the lines and then taped over the pencil. Now I pulled up the tape and you can see the pencil lines. I tried an eraser and it's too messy (and I would need way too many!) and I tried a scrubbie with water. Clorox bleach cleaner works well but I am afraid to use it as it might take the paint I just painted off and I still want to paint a sealer on top and I want it to stick. Any suggestions? or can I use the bleach cleaner without any problems?

After at least 2 wks you'll be fine to use your cleaner as it takes that long for most paints to cure and some up to 30 days. good luck. Those eraser things will leave what a painter calls "flashing effect" if you look where you used it you'll see a different sheen. good luck

STEP 1: Erase pencil marks with a clean, white, art gum eraser. STEP 2: If you don't have an art gum eraser, make a paste with 2 tbsp. baking soda and a bit of water. Rub mixture into the pencil marks with a clean, white, dry cloth.
STEP 3: For stubborn stains, rub the area with toothpaste (non-gel) on a clean, white, dry cloth.

MR. CLEAN MAGIC ERASER. These work great on almost ant surface. Won't take off the paint. Just dampen then erace. I use them on everything!!!

try mr. clean's magic eraser. You can get it at target or the grocery store. it really works!
