Apple's ease of use and its stability make it a really great computer. I like Macinotsh a lot better, because the design is easy for me to understand and they are great for design. They look cool, too :)

You're going to get a lot of people absolutely screaming one of the other at you in loyalty for their brand I hope you realise. lol
As I understand, Apples have always been better for graphic design and creative things. Be that because of the way they are programmed or whatever.
But PC's have pretty much caught up nowadays. As long as you can get over the idea of Bill Gates ruling the world etc. etc. Microsoft and the PC pretty much have it sorted. The vast majority of all new stuff that comes out is for the PC and people have a lot more experience in it.
For me, unless you've got a very specific reason for buying an Apple (e.g. a creative designer or something), the PC is what you want.

Microsoft is better in my opinion, because although apple's design is absolutely BRILLIANT, microsoft computers are far more... "usable".
I play computer games, and microsoft computers can run these games, whereas apple cannot, that is the main reason why microsoft is better.

I dont think i have ever used Apple when i was a kid i have but i could hardly remember,, just playing games on it thats all.. i remember cus i would always look at an apple on the monitor.
Microsoft is okay but I hate Internet Explorer!! ugh. i would never use that shyt again. I like fire fox

Apple generally has better products with respect to ease of use and stability. Microsoft generally has a better business platform. It all depends upon what your needs are.

You'll get many answers. But it depends on how do you define "better" for an operative system (OS).
Simplicity, elegance, power. That's Apple OS.
Compatibility with more software, greater presence. That's Windows OS.

If you are working in design business, mac is a must
photoshop, illustrator, video edit
remember mac/apple is expensive
If you just for doc, game , music........Microsoft.
office, game, internet and have much more software to choose.
How do I know that? I try both
