You should do a body fat composition test to see if it is fat you need to lose or do you need to tone up muscle.

Well that is a two part answer. The body will adapt over time to a change in calories. It will go in what is known as stavation mode where you metabolism will slow down to make the most out of the calories it is recieveing. Plus your body will adapt to a workout regimine so that you will recieve less benefit for doing the same thing. Plus with your weight loss the exercise now naturally burn less because you are moving less weight around. The body is an amazing thing.....but do not fret...it is ok. First,..WOW....75 lbs...great job. Change the diet just a bit(maybe a 100 calories here or there 3 times a week), and change the exercise...increase the intensity. Walk and run faster and farther...just a bit, but do increase a little each week. Add weights or other resistance exercise ( push ups, pull ups, etc.) These really stoke up the metabolism. And relax....you lost 75 friggin lbs...Good for you.

The same thing happened to me! You have "platoed" and your body is comfortable where it is. You are going to have to work harder than you have been to drop the last 10 lbs. Kick up your workour regimin, do more cardio a day and change your diet a little but. The key is to boost your metabolism. If you have the money or belong to a gym I would also consult with a personal trainer.

Congratulations on what you have done so far and good luck with the last 10!

It really seems to me that the less overweight you are, the more difficult it is to lose.

I have a really overweight co-worker who diets and works out just a little and the lbs. just fall right off.

I am much smaller, and it takes so much longer/more work for me. I just want to lose about 20 lbs. and no matter how hard I try, I can only lose about 2 lbs. a week.

My best advice is stay motivated and don't give up! If you stay committed, those last 10 will come off in time.

The first 10 is water weight. The last 10 is fat and besides you exercise and start putting on muscle, which weighs more then fat. See where the problem comes in. Hard to lose weight when you replace fat with muscle which is heavier. It isn't impossible though so keep up the hard work.

Your body is comfortable at the weight you are at. Which is obviously a problem. Work out harder than what you normally would until your body lets go of the lbs. Then you can go to a maintenance schedule which should be a little easier than what you have been doing.

in basic terms some issues that helped me: Drink assorted water... do away with all soda and shrink juices that have a TON of sugar. shrink "undesirable" carbs and pay attention for those "on the area" products like french fries, mashed potatoes, etc. If I consume out, I % a small steak with vegetables or if going the quickly nutrition direction- i will grab a childrens meal w/ hen tenders and a bottled water or eating recurring soda. verify to consume 6 small nutrition an afternoon fairly of three great ones. Snack in between nutrition on cheese, vegetables, etc. artwork out a minimum of three times a week. i'm hoping this helps! :) And CONGRATS on your weight-loss to this point!! you're able to be very pleased with your self!!
