Ok my hair atm the moment is really blonde, I've had it bleached at the hair dressers.

I fancy a change and want to dye it a dark brown, would it be ok to dye it myself? Any good products anyone could reccomend?

since your hair is bleached , you would need to fill it first.,pre-pigment. id have a professional do it. if its bleached now and then it doesnt turn out the way you like ,then you need to fix it, you could really be looking at serious damage. i'd pay the extra and get it done right.

yes you can dye it yourself (its much cheaper that way as well) since you are not going to be putting any bleach in your hair than it should be fine to just color your hair with a box color. try any products by garner. they have really good conditioners to use after you color your hair.
also make sure you get a brown with the right color highlights that you want. if you want more reddish highlights get brown with red tones in it. but since you have blond hair i would suggest you get a brown with blond tones. it will take better and be easier to change if you don't like it.

I would not recomend doing it yourself. If your hair is bleached and you put a dark brown color on it it will most likely turn GREEN. You should really go to a professional.

NO don't do it yourself go to a professional depending on your hairs porostiy bad things coould happen if you just slap some color on it. a nice dark chestnut brown is beautiful but seek a professional

I would check with your hairdresser or anyone at the drugstore that know about it. Usually, it depends the length of time and the type of shade. I asked someone cuz when I tried it on my own. I went totally a different color. I WAS NOT HAPPY!
