How can we use Buddhist principles to raise awareness of environmental issues?

There are two types of truth in Buddhism:conventional and ultimate truth.
Conventionally,there is 'I','yOU',TREES,DOGS,JAPAN,USA,etc.
Ultimately,all the above are just ONE.
There is one Earth and there is one universe.
If everyone in this world understand this Buddhist principle of the ultimate truth,then all of us will have to work together to the good of this world and universe.
Issue like global warming can only be solved by government.If every countries follow this Buddhist principle,then this isssue can be solve,but if every countries think of themselves as:USA,JAPAN,etc(conventional truth),then this issue will not be solve.
