Some girls I know really well told me that they're setting a blind date for me with someone I know. Anyway, I feel like it's gonna be weird cause if it's a girl I already know...well it might not be a girl I like or the opposite...cause it's not like I don't know her...

What should I do?

First, this is something you DEFINITELY need to do. Set up some rules. Whatever you absolutely cannot stand in a woman, let them know. Girls have been known to set up their less-than-beautiful, 'but nice' girlfriends with guys they think are a catch. But that's not always the case.

Honestly, if they are friends of yours, and you know the other person, just try it out. Let it be known straight out that there's no commitment. If you sparks fly, take her out again. If not, well, enjoy your evening but let her know she's not what you're looking for.

People put way to many stigmas on blind dates. I think it's awesome to meet new people, and if it's through friends then you will, in most cases, have a great time. I can guarantee your not going to merry your blind date, so don't worry, just have fun and be happy that you have meet a new acquaintance.

Well I would trust the girls that are doing this because they might know whats right for you. If you don't like the chick that they hooked you up with then you need to tell them and not even go out with her. Trust me I know what I'm talking about I've been on plenty of them.

First rule of thumb. Meet in a neutral place. Go somewhere it lit and that you have an exit plan.

Now have fun and treat it as an adventure. Bring you humore if he or she makes you laugh a lot. Bring your culture if they love the arts, concerts, etc. Snow ski anyone.

You have nothing to lose. Just relax, be yourself, and have fun. You never know where it might lead. She can become a great friend or even a girlfriend.
