The ancient Greeks had a concept of evolution. Darwin's grandad had a similar idea. Wallace, Darwin's contemporary, had exactly the same idea. Wise people's thinking converge . Fools' thinking diverge.

Democritus postulated biological evolution before Christianity evolved from Judaism and Greek philosophy. All Darwin and Wallace added was the idea of Natural Selection as the driving force.

Well I've used every search word in all different combinations and cannot find a single source for your ancient Greeks concept of evolution. Not going to waste time on Darwin's grandfather unless you cite scholarship on the Greeks.

P.S. Democritus was working with atomic physics and had nothing to do with the theory of evolution, so don't try to go there unless you do your homework. I don't think he ever used the word, even in Greek.

Isn't it amazing that you constantly feel you must degrade all Christians. As a believer in Evolution AND A CHRISTIAN, I took time to learn about it before I professed to believe in it.

No, we knew that Darwin wasn't original. What's your point? Moses predated the ancient Greeks, and he agreed with Jesus. So what?

Isn't it also amazing that sin existed too?

This is why Christ came in the first place....to redeem us from this sinful place and all of it's sinful ideas and beliefs.
