It might not be anything like hormones, diet, thyroid, stress, or whatever else! It could simply be genetics. It's hereditary.
Some men do start balding at that age, some as early as high school!
If it is hereditary, there really isn't much he can do about it except embrace and accept it! Sorry, but there is no cure for this, I don't care what the Hair Clubs and Rogaines of the world will tell you.
Pills, potions, and lotions do not work 99% of the time! For those it does work for, they have to keep using it; if use is discontinued, any growth resulting from use of the product will fall out. This could run into some serious money! And if it will work for him or not, there's also the side effects to contend with. How does impotency or shriveling of the testicles strike you? Not exactly an acceptable trade-off, to be sure! He wouldn't want that and I'm sure you don't, either!
Hair plugs? Forget it! Chances are, it'll look like "doll's hair". And if it does end up looking decent, it's still expensive! And the implants may be required for a number of years depending on how he will continue to bald. You really want to go through that?
Hair Club for men? HA! These so-called "hair systems" are a fancy term for "toupee". It's weaved into the client's remaining hair to "anchor" it down! Don't fool with the rugs! Rugs are for the floor!
Advertisers spend billions convincing the general public in some form or fashion that you need this and that, otherwise you don't measure up, making people feel insecure about their appearance.
He should try shaving his head. He may actually see it as an improvement. And you should be supportive and love him for him and not his hair (or lack thereof).
Good luck to both of you!

So..
This is a good guide with a step-by-step method to get your hair back http://hairagain.toptips.org
Male hair loss is the most common type of hair loss. It's caused by increased sensitivity to male sex hormones (androgens) in certain parts of the scalp, and is passed on from generation to generation. There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall. You can try to regain your full head of healthy hair by following natural methods: they are cheaper, they have no side effect and very often more effective than conventional one.
As said above an interesting guide you can follow to get your hair back and prevent future hair loss without dangerous chemicals and drugs, and without expensive supplements or painful hair transplants is available on this site: http://hairagain.toptips.org

Some men bald at a young age. There is nothing you can do about it. Support your husband, some men can be really self conscious and vulnerable during this time. Let him know you think a bald head is sexy. Remember Joey Lawrence on dancing with the stars, or Chris Daughtrey on American Idol. A good way of getting through this period is to shave his head. Some men grow a goatee to counter act the bald look. Either way I think bald men are sexy. Help him through this time, he needs you most of all.
