We get into a relationship and our friends tell us its not good and we think he is perfect. He says "I love you" and we believe it. Then he breaks up with us and we finally see it was all a lie. I cant say anything because I've been there, but why do we do this? Is it a case of love is blind.

Everyone you date teaches you a lesson in life and relationships. You take the good, throw away the bad and are constantly searching for what you have built up to be the greatest guy for you. He may not be perfect in the looks department, but he will treat you like gold and constantly be there to give you the emotional and physical support you need.

it could be a case of we fall to fast and ignore the signs infront of us. then when it falls apart we lame the guy whether he did wrong or not. i myself try my best to pace my self in a relationship it take 9 mths to get to know any one really the first 3 are pretending second 3 are gradually letting ppl in and the last 3 u get a good pic of there personality and character. that applies to still only some guys who can fool you the whole time if you arent looking.

Women are generally looking for love and take chances to find it. Most women believe him when he says it because if she never believes it she will never find it.
Men..well they do fall in love but go about finding it in a totally different way.
