what do u think about when u workout or run.? what keeps u motivated... i need suggestions or ideas i have trouble keeping motivated.... thanks

I imagine my self a great warrior or hunter running or a stressful problem i am running against. Try imagining yourself as a spartan warrior running with your spear and shield.

Or just get CRUNK!!!

My mind wanders on all sorts of things, usually whatever is going on in my life at the time. To stay focused on my workout, I try to concentrate on working my abs no matter what machine I'm on. I also try to keep the right posture so I won't hurt myself. Towards the end of the workout, I'm usually thinking about what I'm going to eat when I get home!!! I also have an outfit that's a little snug on me right now, my goal is to get into it by Valentine's Day; so I think about that.

I workout to Billy Blanks' BootCamp Elite, the counting and constant activity keep me going. The workouts are fun (with the kickboxing, punching and high pace activity) so that keeps me motivated.

Whenever I work out, I have a goal in mind of what I want to achieve, both short term and long term. I think about that goal and think about how great it's going to feel to complete it. I also think about what I have to do to achieve it.

So if I'm working out, I may have a goal to do 150 pushups in today's workout, but a long-term goal of doing 50,000 pushups in the whole year. I concentrate on that goal and how I'm doing at achieving it.

Get excited about your goals, think positively about them every day, and imagine what it's going to be like when you achieve them. That's the best way to achieve anything!

I have just started working out and it helps to do it with a friend. The two of us keep each other company and we motivate each other. I use to hate working out but know I look forard to our weekly sessions.

I walk a treadmill, and watch TV while on it.
Don't have to think..
