A better question would be, why doesn't Eastern Europe merge together if they're all the same? It's the same thing. :O

And why is there no longer a Mozarabe empire that encompassed both?

If there is a Mexico, why still a Spain? And why doesn't Mexico include Texas anymore? Why no more Spanish empire?
