First of all the U.S. did not evolve from England, we revolted and broke away. Much like Australia, India, China, Canada, much of Africa, and Belize. England established colonies, so did Spain, so did France. As time passed these colonies got big enough and powerful enough that they understood the fact that they did not need to belong to a mother country, and that they could rule themselves. So they revolted, like the U.S., or broke away (like Canada). Just because the United States is not an English colony that does not destroy the fact that England is still a country. 200 years ago England, France and Spain were the most powerful countries in the world. Look at them today. Kind of makes you wonder where the U.S. will be in 200 years.

America did not EVOLVE from any country. It contains bits and pieces of every nation on this Earth. These people came to America for different reasons. Many of them to escape oppression and the hatred of their own country or for freedom. Some were even brought to America as slaves and were eventually freed through a Civil War. GOD has been a large part of the American Heritage and Culture. HE still is. Have a great day.

Great... the aftermath of yet another idiot handed his head in the classic "if man evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?"
People are getting really stupid. I think we're approaching short-bus levels with some of them.
Blatant denial of physical proof is pretty stupid, but questioning others and announcing your lack of intelligence... that's just plain irritating.
