I think it'd be better to divorce.

One of my coworkers did this with her boyfriend, well now he's her fiance. Things were not working out the way they should, so she moved out. They stayed together, but didn't live together for about a year. They worked on things and are now building a house together and will be married this spring. So I think that if you are not happy together right now, you owe it to yourselves to take some time apart (not break up, just not live together). Figure out what is wrong and work on making it better. I think that starting over is a great idea. Maybe it'll be even better the second time around or maybe you'll realize you are not right for each other. I really hope it is the former!

Yeah, but I wouldn't just wait until things get better, if there's fighting all the time then i think the problems should try to be resolved, talk about how each person is feeling, and see how it pans out! Good luck

Not living together is a good idea, but I have reservations about dating others. I think they should work on their relationship at that time.

Yes... I just went through sort of the same thing... but you're right, the goal is to start appreciating one another again. If that means less time together, that's all well and good. Best of luck, honey!

I don't see how that would really resolve the fighting. If seperating stops the fighting, then what was the issuse they were fighting about? Togetherness? My point is, they have to get to the root of the argument or else they are going to keep fighting when they reunite.

Sounds like an excellent plan to me; especially if you want to try to work things out! Sometimes, a little space can work wonders for a relationship!

do you mean dating different people? if you take that path, you wont get back on the path you started with your boyfriend. more than likely you guys will break up for good if you decide to date other people.

what's the win in fighting??
move on..it's better for both of you..
but why do you fight?? will you just take your fighting to another relationship??
need to take a deeper look into why you fight.
