You have said it...first of all... she is only 16.... she has many many years to find her true love... and as I have found in my 23 years.. you think the one your with is your true love until it doesn't work out... then the next one your with is your true love.. and so on and so forth..... utill you get married and find the one! But I would say at 16 and 18.... its just a case of puppy love or just a huge case of lust! Looks like maybe he just wanted her and not the whole package... like you said.... love has no boundaries... if he's not willing to meet the fam then he probably doesn't love her... Well done... your a good friend and she would be stupid to not listen to you... but remember that love does make you blind and sometimes its hard to see these things when you think that your in love.. hope this advice helps.....

I think that its more of an attraction. To be honest, I think that the meaning of 'true love' has been lost on all teenagers. Being a teenager myself, I often hear people of my own age saying that they are 'in love' when they have only been dating someone for a few weeks. There are many stages of love in the scientifical sense, and studies have shown that the majority of teenagers don't get past the 'attraction' stage anyway.

She's incredibly young and sounds extremely romanticly minded :-)

I'd think that it certainly wasn't true love on his part though, seeing as he wont even see her parents. Her head is in the clouds and nobody else has ever felt the same yadda yadda yadda.

I don't believe in true love at first sight anyway. I love my guy more and more each day :-)

He doesn't want to meet her parents? He must be older than 18 then and worried the parents will freak out!

She is too young to know what true love is anyway.

Not at all. Generally, people who think they have something no one else has are both infatuated and immature. They probably both find each other extremely attractive and are out having fun, thinking that's what love is.

If someone is really in love he/she has to fight for his love,to have confident and overcome every obstacle. If that boy refuses to show his faced he's embarrased of something good.If someone feels that when he claims he's in love he certainly isn't.
