You'll probably feel sick, weak and starving if you do that. Just eat proteins, vegetables and healthy fats. Low-fat cereal is for farm animals.

1) Love your body. Your body will not like having such little food, you will have no energy on that diet. Your metabolism may be sluggish because it may be hitting starvation mode, and the body will not let go of fat as easily at this stage.
2) You do not sound obese by any stretch. if it is 5-10 lbs you want to lose, you can do this in about a month if you just exercise 30-45 minutes 3-4 days a week. So spend your money on some running shoes!
3) Take your time. set a goal and stick with it, if not, it will simply come right back. Lean meats and steamed vegetables with herbs and spices are great. Make a batch and stick them in Tupperware. It's a simple equation, eat less food than you body needs and you will lose weight (but not to the point it "starves" - at least 1200 calories), and eat more food than the body needs and you will gain weight. Exercise and muscle mass helps to balance the equation, but it come down to food/energy vs. need.

First of all, you should be consuming more than 1,000 calories a day especially if you're over 5 feet. Then there's the fact that a diet that low on calories is called a crash diet for a reason, wich is that once you crash you put on more than you're trying to lose. And third calories don't matter when talking about weight, so if you were to only eat all natural foods, then you would lose more weight and keep it off, rather then ending up putting more on. You would lose the weight slower, but trust me. It's worth it.

if you kept to that diet you would certainly loose weight but in all honesty i think you could probably eat more and still loose weight
what i think you should do is count calories, there are so many meals and snack that you can eat with not very many calories in and you wouldnt feel deprived of anything at all, but the problem with your plan is that it will be very boring and by arround day three you may be tempted to cheat.
it all depends on what you want to acheive if you dont eat very mutch as it is and just want to loose 4-5 pounds than go for it but if you have a lot to loose than in my oppinion calorie counting is the key and the most healthy

Never a good idea not to eat - i eat whatever i want when i want and i'm 5'9", and wiegh 10 stone. the baest way to stay slim (which you must be if you're a gymnast) is to eat 5-6 small meals a day. You're too young to diet - your body's still growing and needs all the food it can get! just eat healthily and you are allowed to snack, just not too often on chocolate and crisps!!! don't cut them out all together, it'll only depress you!

Your a bit young to go on a diet but oh well its up to you. The special k diet works but you have to eat it twice a day and then have one meal. Don't not eat it doesn't make you lose weight it just makes you ill. But first do you really need to lose weight?

You'll develop at eating disorder before you lose any weight!
This is seriously a bad way of thinking about food....'not allowed' should never come into it when you are trying to live healthily, everything in moderation & more exercise than calories, is the way you should do it....

You are fine the way you are. Eat healthy! Your diet idea is not healthy. Increase your proteins and drink water. Cut the carbs that means no cereal. Eat veggies and take vitamins.

Dont skip lunch as your body will store fat as it thinks its being starved... thats why some people have to eat more to loose weight. Its hard to say how much you will loose in two weeks but if you burn off more calories then you put on... you will loose weight... its not rocket science

Instead of sitting and studying, listen to books on tape when you walk, clean, or garden.
