Things might have changed a good bit but when I went through Ft. Jackson in 2000 the routine was as follows, and the times are approximate because I sure as hell don't remember:
0500- Wake-Up: Yeah, it sucks at first.
0505- Formation: Fill up your canteen the night before and get everything prepped as best you can so you can grab and go and be in formation on time.
0510- Physical Training: Alternates between muscle-failure days and cardio days. One MF days, you do pushups and their variations and sit-ups and their variations until *ding* muscle failure. Don't worry, it is overwhelming but not "breaking". I would reccomend doing some PT now if you haven't already. On cardio days, you will be broken off into ability groups based on your initial APFT times so that the slow people are together and the fast people are together etc. Expect to run anywhere from 2-6 miles. It's not bad, the worst part is having incompetant morons in front, side and behind you trample your feet when the stumble along.
0630- Personal Hygeine
0645- Formation
0700- Breakfast
Now, from this part of the day on, it depends on what phase you are in, red, white or blue. Red phase is your first 1/3 of bct, white, your second and blue your third.
Red Phase, sucks...
An example red phase day from post-breakfast on is:
0800-1200: Sit in a classroom and fight for your life from falling asleep.
1200- Lunch
1300-1500: March all over the place
1700- Dinner
1800- Shine boots, clean building
2000- Personal Time
2100- Lights Out
White phase is all about BRM baby....Basic Rifle Marksmanship, and I actually enjoyed that a lot more than anything else.
Basically, you go to the range after breakfast and stay there until dinner time. At least you have the pleasure of sending rounds down range and the Drill's are more worried about teaching you than yelling and hollering unless you fail to keep your weapon up and down range.
Blue phase is basically field exercises and STX lanes, which means you will go out to the field, do road marches, and the barely cool soldier stuff you thought you would be doing when you signed up.
All in all, it is too easy as long as you keep a good attitude, do not let your fellow platoon members get on your nerves, and do the best you can.
There is no need to stress out and don't worry about wether or not you are going to make it, because as long as you pass the final PT test and a couple of other minor things and don't piss the drill's off, you will be fine.
Actually, have fun. I wish I could do it all over again because I worried too much the 1st time through ;).

The first day of basic is the hardest. I'd be doing pushups, standing up and getting back down into the pushup position over and over again, mountain climbers etc starting now. If you can do this constantly for 45 minutes you will do fine in basic.
Up 0500 Make Bunk Dress and for PT
0530 PT to 0630
0630 to 0700 shower, clean dorm, dress for breakfast
0715 0745 breakfast
0800 training starts for that day
1115 to 1230 lunch and lunch break
1230 afternoon training
1700 to 1745 Dinner and dinner break
1745 to 2000 Shine shoes, study
2000 to 2130 personal time
2130 bed
You will do fireguard every night. I recommend that each fireguard go down and do laundry throughtout the night. It will be less thing you need to do. Plus it will keep them awake.

The day begins at 5 a.m. You wake up, get dressed and go to breakfast. After that the training days begins. Around noon to 1 p.m you have lunch , in the mess hall, or in the field. Training continues until about 5 p.m. You then are assembled for command info, mail call, and then go to dinner. The rest of the day is yours to tend to personal and military things you must do. Write letters home, polish your boots, clean the barracks, do fire watch duty when your turn comes up, etc.

If you're in good physical shape...basic training is boring as hell!
You'll get to do very little hands on real weapons training, which is one of the pluses of joining, all of the weapons will be simulations. The most excitement you'll have is dealing with all the rejects and characters from around the country that will be in your platoon. The same guys who will cause you to get in trouble for sh!t you have no contol over.
It's very routine, I won't say that there isn't challenges that you'll run into but for the most part...it's a lot of standing around and waiting.

It differs from day to day. Breakfast is always at 6am I believe while lunch is at 11am, and dinner at 5. That's if it's the same for all military services.
I know for my cousin who did army a few years ago, he mentioned that pt wasn't everyday like one might think. There isn't a solid schedule. But when you first get there, you wont be pting or doing much active, they need to give you your shots and do tests on your health and whatnot. Then once "p days" are over, then you'll be worked to the bone.
Good luck!

It is a busy day from being wake up until going to sleep. 0400 hours wake up call.
Physical training, drill and ceremony, each day is different. A good source is one on one. You can find the information by calling the American Legion to find out if one of their member came back from Iraq.

It is different every day, but by the end of your 8 weeks, you will think that 6 am is sleeping late.
