I've recently had my heart broken. It stinks. I can't eat, can't sleep... and break out in crying at the most random times. Right now everything reminds me of him and the potential of our relationship in which I believed. We were on and off again for over a year. What really stinks is finding out that he's moved on with someone else, and he didn't find it all that hard to tell me he can't love me. I don't EVER want to experience this again.

I've also been the person who has to tell him that I just don't feel the same way about him that he does me. And while I think that I was sympathetic at the time in my response, I believe I was also firm and didn't do or say anything to create a false sense of hope. I didn't like doing it, but it didn't affect me the way that experiencing the heartbreak does.

If I've gotten anything out of my recent experience, I would hope that it's empathy. I don't think anyone wants to experience either, but if I had to choose to live through either again, I would NOT choose to have my heart broken.

I would rather have mine broken, to break a woman's heart is a terrible feeling, especially when some are very emotional, its the worst.

I'm used to having mine broken, so I can tough it out. I couldn't break another person's heart, no matter how much I dis-liked them, because I wouldn't wish the feeling on anyone. Anyway, what goes around, comes around

I somewhat have my heart broken...case in point, i wouldn't in any respect choose for to break my friends heart, or yet somebody else's heart. that would desire to be selfish. If my heart replaced into broken, it may in all risk propose it may heal and discover somebody extra advantageous...

To have mine broken is much better than having another one hurting too. Leaving only me with the healing and accepting the pieces of my own heart...

i would prefer to break their heart before they break mine... kinda like being fired, you don't want that on your resume' that you where FIRED. i would rather quit then get fired... same with dating... i'd much rather be the one breaking up with him, then him breaking up with me, just so i can say i am the one who did the breaking up... i did this A LOT... i am married now, i really don't want to be the one, but if had to be i think i'd still rather be the one. but like you said "i don't want to break HIS heart" i love him very much! so he better not screw that up for me (laughing)

As much as it hurts I don't wish it on my worst enemy.
