How about you try a few pairs on and see for yourself?

A good optician will recommend a shape of specs to suit your face. Different face shapes like oval, round and square suit different shaped frames. The computers that some opticians use I don't be live are for checking suitability. They are for people who have such BAD eye sight they can't see what they look like! The optician will take a picture of you wearing the frames you like, then set the lenses on the screen to your prescriptions and then you can look at the picture of yourself and see what you look like. I need to have my old glasses on while I'm looking you see!

Their a few basic guide lines that fashion books give you on what kinds of glasses to get. But over all, you just have to try on glasses and just go with what you like, and ask others what they think looks good on you.

Don't rush into anything.

I bought mine a while back and she showed me the glasses she said that everyone liked and look good on pretty much every style of face. Turns out she was right. And i love them. Guess makes really good brands of glass.

The only way to know is to put aside a good hour or two and try on a LOT of them. As you're trying them on, eliminate the ones you don't like and then go back and narrow down the ones you did like until you're down to a few. Then ask someone whom opinion you respect to help you choose the final pair.

I always take my mum with me or my best friend as I can never see throught their fake lenses to see if they suit me. A computer programme would be great.. can't wait to see what responses you get!

Put the frames on and look in a mirror, if you like what you see then have those.
