For all you people out there that believe in the supernatural and signs, in your opinion what would a WHITE OWL symbolize? I've been seeing white owls (or perhaps the same one) ever since my boyfriend's sister was killed in a terrible car accident. Odly enough, I think one lives in the tree in his front yard. I've seen it at different times, but on every occasion I have been having a bad day or a hard time. Especially ever since my Grandpa passed away, he was a big part of my life, the only person I could really count on. Is the white owl some type of angel, is it a way of showing me that somebody is watching over me and guiding me? If you know please answer, and if you are not sure can you direct me to a place or website that would?

The owl, in Native American mythology represents wisdom and is thought to be the carrier of elders spirits. Given what you have written here about your grandfather, perhaps this is a positive message that he is fine and that he is watching over you.

The owl in Greek mythology was associated with the Goddess Athena. This could play into the death of your boyfriend's sister in that she, in some way, must be avenged. Athena was a warrior Goddess who was known as a great strategist. Perhaps your boyfriend needs to take a second look at what happened in that car accident and see if there is more that he needs to do for his sister. "Strategy" being the operative word here and means of action.

I hope this helps you!
