I had vonage, and the service was terrible. It broke up and cut out all the time. Do you agree? Has anyone tried time warner's phone service? Is it similar, or does it work well like verizon or another company does?

the downside is there more expensive, and have less features then other VIP but, Time-Warner tech will come out and install, and test your broadband phone for you....until it works perfectly! also, you don't have to wait for your phone-number to be ported, WT does it right-a-way!....

I still have Vonage. Ive never had any interference with vonage or problems at all..TIME Warners service is more costly for the same thing. Id stay with vonage but change out your phone. Just return it...YOu can get any phone for vonage it can be 7 bucks or 300 bucks. I have Unidens 5.8 digital corded phone i paid 50 bucks for at circuit city. Its hooked up to the free adapter i got and never had any problems.

I have been using Vonage since October of 2006 and have had great results and saved alot of money. I have made cell phone calls to my Vonage line and have placed cell phone calls from my Vonage line and have never been charged extra. I do have the Unlimited Plan.
