Disagree. Try explaining quantum theory in a pithy zinger that also fails to simplify it to the point of idiocy. Can't be done.

Well, then any complicated process would work for this example. The cause of the first World War, for example. The simple answer is the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand, but any scholar of history will tell you that although the assassination began the chain reaction, if the structure of secret alliances in Europe hadn't been in place, World War I would have been a small regional event rather than the cataclysm it was. To explain the cause of the first World War, you need in depth knowledge of historical precedent, the foreign policy of the time, and the psychology of the players on the stage.

Even this answer is a case in point. I tried for something simple and short and wound up with a lecture.

This applies to just about anything be it a design for a building to writing a letter. The simpler and more to the point the better. That comes from a solid knowledge base.

Trivial. We have single words for the commonplace. The less familiar requires a description. Every field of study has its own language to accelerate communication.
