I have the occasional gray hair and I am thinking about getting them treated to match the rest of my hair. The only thing that is stopping me is that I am 33 (and look younger) and I am looking for a upper level management job. Will have some grays lend an aire of maturity to me or not?

Yes, I think you should leave them. They will add to people's perception of you as being more mature. You most definately don't want to interview for a management position looking like you just got out of college.

I do not think the color of your hair or a few grays that you have, would prevent you from getting the job that you want. However, I have to say that gray hair shows maturity and maybe, after all, you need to keep those.

Definitely cover the grays. If you don't want a drastic change, get your hair done professionally using a demi-permanent color that is close to your natural shade. You will not have noticeable roots with this type of color and it will be lower maintenence. Colored hair will give you more of a polished look if done properly. Gray hairs will tend to give you more of an unkempt, tired look. Good luck to you.

Seeing as how you are male, I would stay with the gray. People think men with gray hair look distinguished.

Unfortunately if you are a woman, that isn't ALWAYS true.

Men if you are going to color you hair find someone who knows how. All Grey hair is diff rent and a color expert won't let you down.
I have many men that I color their hair and it took a bit to see when they were going to ask. Once they did they love it and say they feel and look younger. I say do it. And keep it up

as an upper management material. you should know that it is illegal for your interviewer to ask "how old" you are.

as a hiring manager, i care more about what you can do for my company, how much money you're going to help me make rather than you looking older or younger. what's the use if you can't perform? be yourself.

I say color them. But not because they make you look old. I think that coloring your hair will give you more confidence, whether you realize it or not.

Now watch, the person interviewing you will have all grey hair....
