Is it true that the more successful people don't watch tv and the people who sit around and watch tv are unsuccessful?(no joke really i just wanted to know what ya'll think cuz i like to watch tv for extnensive hours but does that make me unsuccessful?)

im absolutly the most laziest person ull ever meet trust me im successful i just got a new house built in fla a new saturn sky looks like a viper and 2 dirtbikes and a harley trust me laziness is the way to be

It could be true, but I don't think it's an absolute. Maybe people who are successful enough to not have to work many hours watch a lot of TV. Maybe people who don't get to watch much TV are that way because they have to work a lot of hours because they weren't ambitious enough to make anything of themselves in the first place. Their laziness caused them to not be able to get a good-paying job, so now they have to work a lot just to get by. Then there's my mother-in-law. She barely gets out of bed accept to take pills and eat EasyMac. The last time she moved, she said she didn't care if the phone was hooked up as long as she had a TV in the bedroom. So, she's horribly lazy, watches a lot of TV, and is an absolute loser.

What can you be doing that will make you successful while you are watching tv? I don't see how anyone can focus on anything important while their attention is being monopolized by a tv screen. I suppose anything is possible, but, I doubt that there are many successful people who spend their time sitting and watching tv.

I don't know if unsuccessful is the right word, as I am sure that there are successful ppl out there that wind down after their successfull work day by watching/sleeping to the tube...but if you are always watching TV on your spare time, it is not leaving much opprotunity to get out into the real world with real ppl.

yes by watching TV all the time makes us lazy.it make us see whatever going on in TV whether they are of no use it keeps us away from studies.i had saw it people who are in very big posts does not watch TV because they don,t have time . only free people who don,t got any work sits on TV for many hours but they don,t know its not only the wastage of the time but also wastage of energy . it weakened us . so it is true that watching TV for extensive hours makes us lazy and bore.

I think you can still be successful and watch TV. As long as watching tv doesn't interfere with your ability to finish tasks at work.

Yes, it's true! they are busy working on projects and thinking about how to do more, make more, improve what they have. Watching TV makes you lazy and produces nothing!

Success is usually based on what you do when you're not sitting on the couch....unless of course, thats what your job is.
