confirmation of what ? I really don't quite know confirmation of god as your savior or something ? anyway... why should you have to "give" anything ? if you honestly believe the bible and take it to heart why is a gift necessary ? the "confirmation" should BE the gift... by giving a gift all you are doing is taking away the meaning of this event from the kid. All the kid sees is an opportunity to GET something... like christmas has become these days. If you honestly feel the need to GET them something donate to a charity in the kids name

A rosary, a book, something that will make them think about the responsability that comes with it, with the fervor that they ussually have when they first get confirmed it would be wonderfully accepted.
